Definately not a sledge – that’s what our cricketers do to try and intimidate their opponents (with very little success at the moment – we are getting a belting from the Poms!!). I think you could call it a “sleboggan” or a “tobosled”. Doesn’t matter, as it looks like you were having lots of fun in the snow, even if Rose was looking rather apprehensive in that shot of her alone! Great photos from the new camera (I assume). Keep them coming.

    Lots of love

    Dad

Dad, it’s called a sledge round here. I’ve never heard it called that before, but I’m getting used to it. Toboggan is unheard of, but in German it’s something else entirely. We had heaps of fun!

I think it is a sled – I’m not an expert – anyhow, it looks like you were all having a ball! A bit cooler than here 36deg.C here

Oh, it does look like you were having a ball. Makes me wish I was in freezing Leipzig with you guys. Did Rose like going on the sled?

She liked being pulled along with Sarah behind her (as long as Anne did the pulling), but she wouldn’t go near the slope. Remember Australia’s Wonderland? Perhaps she’s like her mum. Miss you xx

Yep, i too found it strange when in England and everyone was going ‘sledging’ down the biggest hill in chichester. Much fun though!
