We hope you made the “swishing” noise with your feet in the piles of leaves Ally. How wonderful those golden leaves are in the sunlight.

    Rose looks wonderful.

So enjoying reading about your adventures in Germany – and I ADORE your little one’s sunshine yellow winter coat… that is stunning. Your photos are beautiful. This is a great time of the year to get out and about.

Thankyou! Just as a little aside, I MADE that yellow coat! I’m a tad proud of it. It was originally an adults coat which I bought at a jumble sale and cut up to make this coat for Rose. The duffel buttons, button loops and collar are all from the original coat, and I sewed the original wool mark label onto the inside of the new one. Today was even more golden than yesterday, so even more reason to get out. I dread to think what is ahead!

Oh thankyou Joey, miss you very much. So glad you’re loving the posts and I’ll try my best to keep them coming as winter closes in and we get less and less light or opportunity to go out. Maybe this blog will be my solace in the months to come.
