No Christmas in July

Peaches, cherries, cool mornings and hot evenings, living in singlets and sipping cool drinks. It’s definitely summer, but where is Christmas? As Germany continues its merry course around the sun, the tastes, smells and sights of summer are taunting my senses with a mirage of the festive season. Since this year’s will be my very first Christmas without summer’s delights, I figure there’s no harm in my getting excited now?

Just think of all the different craft ideas you will learn!! As an “ex Pom” what I wouldn’t give to have just one Christmas in the “old dart”. Hope you are compiling a list of all of the ideas. Luv Carol

I’ll be very interested to see what things Germany does at Christmas time, and I’m pretty excited about the Christmas markets! I’ll be sure to compile a list xx

Ah ha! That’s such a funny thought. Silly old Australia not exporting their Christmas season more convincingly, and silly Germany for not taking the opportunity for a Christmas in July (I mean what are all the church outreach committees thinking for a start πŸ™‚ What a missed opportunity πŸ™‚ !) Not all the photos loaded fast enough for me, so I’m sure they’re all gorgeous, but the greeting cards/note tags are gorgeous. They look so simple but so lovely. Great finds Ally. And the summer there sounds LOVELY! I hope you are all having a lovely time πŸ™‚ Love Lil
